Designed by a doctor. Parents and babies approved.
Simple. Ingenious. Beloved.
The netting is supported by venting channels so baby is placed in an environment where rebreathing and suffocation are not a concern anymore.
Helps prevent Flat Head
The hammock cradles baby's body and reduces the pressure away from the soft spots. Why wait until your baby has to wear a helmet?
No fire retardants
Fire retardants are toxic and have been linked to SIDS in countries like Australia. Why surround your baby with these chemicals when you don't have to?
Developed for Hospitals
Lifenest was developed by a doctor and is used in hospitals around the world to keep preemies (and infants) from getting pressure ulcers and improving certain treatments
Prescribed by Pediatricians
Immediately, I started recommending the Lifenest to my patients, especially the ones that were beginning to show signs of a flat head. Happily, many families opted to try the Lifenest rather than risk the cost, inconvenience and hassle of the potential need for a helmet. Fortunately, all the babies that moved to the Lifenest had improvement (and eventually resolution) of the flat head.
Parents reported back to me that their babies slept well on the mesh mattress. Additionally they had the piece of mind afforded by the breathable surface.
Bravo to Dr Bensoussan for his vision and creativity- the Lifenest is a winning product for all babies.

Here's what they had to say about Lifenest
Your satisfaction is what drives us.
Our pediatrician recommended the Lifenest to us when we started noticing our son's flat head around 2 months old. At first, we were worried he would not adjust to the feel of a different mattress, but we were pleasantly surprised when he slept through the night on the first try. Within a week we started to notice his head rounding out a bit more and now at almost 10 months his head looks great. We also tested breathing through the mattress with the Lifenest cover sheet and knew immediately it would be safe and breathable for our son. As parents, it's comforting to know he's being treated for his flat head while sleeping safe and sound. We highly recommend Lifenest products.
It is a really good mattress! We bought it when our baby was around 5 months and we noticed that he developed a flat spot. Since he was too long for LifeNest Topper, we purchased the full size mattress. Now our son is 9 month and his head is rounded up almost completely! A little bit pricey, but the results are worth it :)
My son has been in the LifeNest from the day he came home from the hospital. It's so great. No flat head and he also is a fantastic sleeper in it.
I wish I found this bed sooner! Our son had a flat spot from sleeping with his head tilted to the right. I stumbled upon this product while reading a mommy blog on plagiocephaly.
I thought I had already read everything out there. I had been trying various products (boppy noggin nest, tortle, etc) for the past 2 months to help with the problem and nothing seemed to help.
Enter the LifeNest... his head is definitely not perfect, but the LifeNest has helped it from getting worse. Hopefully, he'll get another couple months in the LifeNest to help round out his little noggin.
Wouldn't have had this problem if we had the LifeNest from the start!!
